Custom Description

You feel the air shift around you and suddenly, you are no longer in a forest, but in a desert where the sun feels like it is ripping the skin straight from your body. You begin to fan yourself, trying to cool off, but the heat only intensifies. You gasp for cool air and collapse, only to find yourself hitting ice not sand. You begin to shiver, the cold getting to you a lot quicker due to your previous heat exposure. You stand up, looking around before finally spotting a distortion in the scenery. You move towards it, only for it to growl at you. You quickly realize you have been tricked. You charge and tackle the distortion. Everything fades, replaced by the forest you were originally in, and you are on top of a zoroark. The pokemon howls, bites your arm, and flees. If lost please return to WriterRaven.

Base stats

The base stats are specific to the Pokémon species. Every individial Pokémon of the same species will have the same base stats, and this determines how good a species in general will be in certain areas. They usually increase when the Pokémon evolves, but otherwise cannot be changed.

IVs

Individual Values [IVs]

IVs can be thought of as the individual Pokémon's genetics. They are unique to the individual and cannot be changed. Values range from 0 to 31 and are a direct bonus to each stat. IVs can be passed down through breeding: three IVs will be inherited from parents, or five when one of them is holding a Destiny Knot.

EVs

Effort Values [EVs]

EVs are points gained by the Pokémon through effort and training. By visiting the Dojo, you can use Training Bags to power up. This is the only number you can directly affect. It ranges from 0 to 252, however the combined total cannot go higher than 510. Choose your training strategy wisely!
