Hayden was originally part of some prestigious pack lead by some Bisharp alpha who thought very highly of himself. She didn't seem to fit in with the rest of her pack members, eventually being exiled for being a misfit. This gave her somewhat of an anger and mistrust towards other Pokemon, whatever species they were. During that time, she was probably edgier than Slayer and most likely crawled in her skin constantly. Lapis Jr was determined to befriend her when she first met her. At first, she constantly refused every single gift Lapis Jr gave her (probably because it was usually just plastic bags and sticks Lapis Jr thought were "special" and "meaningful") before eventually becoming so tired with Lapis Jr that she didn't even have the energy to be angsty anymore. Perhaps spending time with the other Pokemon on the farm changed her over time, as she now seems to have a greater respect for others, and now knows that not everyone is out to get her. Except maybe Slayer.
