-Call me Padfoot. Please don’t call me anything else because other versions of my name really tick me off. I'll tell you nicely not to call me anything other than Padfoot, but it really gets at my nerves. -I'm genderqueer/non-binary. I use they/them pronouns. -I am autistic and disabled. -I started testosterone April 24, 2018! (Off since Jan 2022) -I got top surgery December 11, 2019! -My birthday is August 24, I'm 27. -I am polyamorous and pansexual. -I have a cat and a dog. My dog is my baby, I love her more than anything. -I live in Texas in the US... unfortunately >.< -Favorite colors are purple, green, orange, and blue, but I also love so many colors. -General interests are Harry Potter (books and movies), (damn shame about this one, it was a big part of my past and I’m keeping it here crossed out because of it) Star Wars, Percy Jackson books (movies are meh), Star Wars: The Clone Wars (TV show), Avatar: The Last Airbender, Legend of Korra, and Once Upon A Time. I'm not greatly into Pokemon so much as PokeFarm, but I have dabbled in the show and several games. -I'm basically a PF veteran, having joined PF1 back in August of 2010. I didn't do much back on PF1, but I'm glad to have gotten so into PFQ. -Slytherin, Child of Mars (Roman), Earthbender, Probably a Grey Jedi (even though the Sith code is way easier to memorize)

Growlyena
Nature: Bold (Likes Sour, Dislikes Spicy) Ability: Intimidate Growlyena's odd dark markings set her apart from other Growlithe. Though she inherited her ability presumably from her mother, it seems to just fit that her dark markings intimidate others.

Moveset

Ember Having known Ember since she was a young pup, Growlyena is careful that she doesn't set fires with the move, even though she likes fire. She usually only uses it when she sneezes, and that happened a lot when she used to cuddle in Bayx's tails. She quickly pawed out the embers before they caught though. Well, except for one time... But she said sorry. Howl Growlyena always thought it odd that she was the only one of her supposed "littermates" to know Howl. After later finding out that she was a hybrid, it made sense to her since her other half species knew the move at a young age. She used to enjoy howling back and forth with Bayx when bored. Dig Someone thought it wise to teach Growlyena Dig, but at least she doesn't bury things. Unless you count herself. In Ninetales' tails. Then yes, she buries herself all the time. Helping Hand This is a move Growlyena didn't learn until more recently, though it's proven to be a defining feature of her now. She does what she can to help others purely for the satisfaction of helping someone.

Growlyena's backstory

Growlyena was conceived from a female Growlithe and a male Mightyena. Her mother had a male Growlithe as a mate, but he'd left to find food, leaving her in heat and unprotected. When the Mightyena came up to her, he of course couldn't ignore his instinct. The male Growlithe came back to them and, outraged, started to fight the Mightyena. The younger and smaller Growlithe lost, however, but the Mightyena was severely burned as well. Growlyena's mother barked at both of them to leave, and they obeyed. A couple months later, complications arose during her birthing. Growlyena was the only pup out of four to survive the birth. Devastated, and still ashamed of what had happened with the Mightyena, Growlyena's mother took her only surviving pup and gave it away to an Arcanine mother who had just had pups a few days before. Growlyena never saw her mother. Nursed and raised as a Growlithe, Growlyena always wondered why she was different from the rest of her family. When she was old enough to go out on her own, her Arcanine mother told her of what had happened before she was born and how her mother couldn't handle caring for one pup after losing three. Growlyena thanked the Arcanine for telling her before heading out on her own. She originally wanted to find her mother, but after months of searching, she gave up. While wandering around on her own, she was taken in by an older melanistic mega Ninetales. Growlyena saw this Ninetales, who goes by Emerald, as a friendly, motherly figure, even if she was only a few years older than herself. They spent a lot of time together before Growlyena decided to move on, still keeping in close contact with her. A while afterward, she managed to wander into another hybrid that was a few years older than her. Sei, she called herself, was a Zorua/Poochyena hybrid. Sei adopted young Growlyena and has been watching after her since. Growlyena met another mega Ninetales shortly after Sei started looking after her, one of the shiny variety. Named Bayx, she and Growlyena got very close for some time before Bayx disappeared. She came back after a while, but Growlyena was already wandering off alone.

Also, the chest fluff is Growlithe's normal tan-ish color. Growlyena is a bit smaller than a normal-sized Growlithe, standing at 2'0" and weighing 36 pounds (just shorter than a Growlithe and a bit lighter-weight than one).

I don't think I'm ever going to get around to working on Kuro because I'm not using him much anymore. He was born out of a bad mental state, honestly, and while the creation of him helped me through some bad stuff, I've moved on. The most I got on him was that he felt ignored by the masses, hated by those who knew him, and overall just a very depressed emo boi... You can see why I don't want to dwell on him anymore. ~Kai~ Avatar done by panpixel Flarotis design by PFQ Kai is a rather playful and silly Flarotis. He often enjoys lazing about or flapping his wings back into a "cape". He maintains that he enjoys being silly and therefore doesn't want to evolve... but honestly he just doesn't want the responsibility of being a Flaroptera. They are a more elegant and regal sort of crowd. Kai would rather have the freedom to be himself. That is, after all, why he dyed his wing feathers light blue.

Many things have happened in the 5 years I've been playing, though I was never really as social on PF1 as I am here on PFQ. I usually just clicked my way to events and wasted my free time through high school. But it was well worth it... I used to be scared of staff, scared of talking to other people because I might get in trouble for some reason, I dunno... The only time I talked with people was to RP, and back then my RPs weren't very enjoyable as most dropped off after a month or so. Now, while I still can't quite hold a conversation with a random person, I am much more open to the community at large. I love it here. I've heard of all sorts of negative things about PF1 that I didn't really know about at the time, but when you're 14/15 and spending time on the internet occupying yourself without social interaction, how else would I have known? I've grown a lot as a person, and now I don't fear staff as I used to. Being a 13 or 14 year old with no knowledge of online interaction etiquette, I spammed once in a trade thread, I believe, and got banned for three days. Didn't get told why, didn't understand what happened, just knew I wasn't allowed to play for three days. I later realized it might have been the random comment I put, so I decided to stay out of forums, keeping just to PM RPs and not talking to anyone else. For as much as I play on PFQ, I'm very much glad I had a few years of PF1 experience to go off of. While it made the goal of filling the pokedex a bit easier since I understood the basic mechanics, I find it a lot more fun to play here (mostly because of shiny hunting and now the awesome albinos and melanistics... but also GEMSH! XD ). While it's not as hard for me, I'm sure it's hard for some, especially those trying to shiny hunt legends over on old PF... I give all of those people props... I finally got around to doing my legend hunt with far fewer summons that I'd originally aimed for, but I got a shiny out of it with my mini-radar! Never would have guessed I would, but even though trying for a second resulted in not as much success, I still had enough fun when PF1 was in its heyday. And with that, I gotta say... Farewell PF1. You'll have a bit of a special spot in my memory. Date: October 2, 2015
So quite some time ago, I took the Pottermore quiz and got my house and wand. However, I definitely didn't feel I belonged in Hufflepuff. I have plenty of their traits because I'm a good and honest person, but I know I'm a Slytherin. I went back and deleted my account and retook the test until I got Slytherin - with actual honest answers! No I did not pick Slytherin-like answers, I actually got it with honest answers! Some time passed and I got to take the Ilvermorny house quiz. It placed me in Pukwudgie, which I didn't think fit me after reading the very vague description of "represents the heart, favors healers". I went back and did the whole delete account, make a new one, verify email once again and got the Wampus, which "represents the body, favors warriors". I thought that was cool, more fitting than healer for me, and it was a panther-like creature! Awesomeness. More recently, however, the patronus quiz came out. I took it over and over again to see the different questions and results - and also because I didn't like some of the ones I got. I know this is kinda breaking the illusion, but I kept trying until I got an animal I really liked. I would have loved something like Tiger or Husky or Rottweiler or even one of the magical creatures like a Dragon or Hippogriff! I kept getting things like Saint Bernard or Weasel, animals I didn't really have any interest in. I finally got a Lion, which is amazing, and I kept it. However, I had to retake all the other quizzes once I settled on Lion, and Ilvermorny put me in Thunderbird, "represents the soul, favors adventurers". I don't think it fits me as well as Wampus, but I didn't want to go back and do everything over again. Maybe sometime in the future... My wand is Pear wood with a Unicorn hair core 12" and Unbending flexibility. Excerpts from Ollivander on Pottermore: "This golden-toned wood produces wands of splendid magical powers, which give of their best in the hands of the warm-hearted, the generous and the wise. Possessors of pear wands are, in my experience, usually popular and well-respected. I do not know of a single instance where a pear wand has been discovered in the possession of a Dark witch or wizard. Pear wands are among the most resilient, and I have often observed that they may still present a remarkable appearance of newness, even after many years of hard use." "Unicorn hair generally produces the most consistent magic, and is least subject to fluctuations and blockages. Wands with unicorn cores are generally the most difficult to turn to the Dark Arts. They are the most faithful of all wands, and usually remain strongly attached to their first owner, irrespective of whether he or she was an accomplished witch or wizard. Minor disadvantages of unicorn hair are that they do not make the most powerful wands (although the wand wood may compensate) and that they are prone to melancholy if seriously mishandled, meaning that the hair may 'die' and need replacing." Ah, Texas. So incredibly nasty and humid during May because that's when it gets warmer and also rains a lot. Now, it's mid June and we still have that same weather. On a less sarcastic note, it's full on storming outside, with more to come I think. I enjoy thunderstorms as long as the power stays on and there aren't and tornado possibilities. I dunno why, but the rain is nice and calming, even if it's a downpour. The thunder and lightning is a bit of chaos in the middle of it all, but that's good too in my opinion. I dunno, maybe I'm weird. I'll admit, sometimes loud, sudden thunder scares me, but that's just because any loud and sudden sound scares me. The lower rumbles though, just a slight bit of chaos to the peaceful downpour. It's truly wonderful.
Met NightcallerZ last night and hung out with her and Kase. Kase I've known for a while. They're both pretty cool. We started talking about our sonas at some point and I realized I never wrote down Growlyena's nature. I knew what it was, but I had to see the berry like/dislike chart because she takes on my personal nature of like/dislike: Like Sour/Dislike Spicy. At some point, I'm going to get around to posting Kuro's information. He's my second sona - and yes, he - that I haven't yet mentioned here because I've been waiting for something to post with (template/art) as well as getting all his information figured out. I have it all on Skype, but I gotta search for it because it's from months ago now...
