Lup and her previous trainer, Lucretia were very close, so when Lucretia had to leave her farm for good- to start on a world-saving mission with many other Ranchers. Wanting to leave her in good hands, Lucretia searched until she came to Greyside. It was small, quiet, peaceful but all the pokemon looked happy, healthy and well loved. After a tour and seeing the pixelated shinx on my card, she knew I was a veteran farmer, even if I had to leave for a bit, I always came back. I assured my pokemon were well loved and taken care of in the meantime. With a tearful farwell, the two hugged and parted. Lup took a while to adjust, shy and solemn, she kept her self closed up for a while. That is until Ash, the houndour, came by. Ash was bred as part of a program to help increase the number of melanistics in the reigon and was brought to Greyside. He immidiately recognized that Lup was like him so he took her under his wing. This opened her up to everyone on the famr and the two now are inserperable, Lup and Ash can never be found apart, with Lup often found riding on Ash's back.
