My starter Pokémon: a sweet little snugglefloof of a Shinx. Not a Shinx anymore, but still a snugglefloof! He is very much in love with his mate and co-alpha, Haiku the Fluxray. In spite of being rather shy, he has become the alpha male of a lion-pride of mostly Shinx, Luxio, and Luxray (although they will adopt any cat, including "honourary cats" like that giant electric tarantula who followed them home). It turns out that two timid kitties become a lot less timid when they're together! Haiku and Shimmer make an excellent team, and they do a good job as co-alphas. Haiku names their daughters after types of poetry, and Shimmer names their sons after optical phenomena.
