“Fascinating,” the woman finally said. “I’ve never seen a Pokémon like this before.” She reached out toward Hitomi as if to touch her. Kellyn cringed, and Hitomi quickly drew back, the static in her fur crackling. “Ex-CUSE you!” she snapped. The woman gasped, her hand flying to her chest as she realized what she almost did. “Oh... OH!” she exclaimed, quickly straightening up and taking a step back. Her eyes flew toward Kellyn. “I... I’m so sorry, I didn’t realize...!” “It’s okay,” Kellyn quickly assured her. He reached down toward Hitomi, who quickly jumped onto his arm and scurried up to his shoulder. He scratched her fondly behind her ears to calm her down. “Most people in Tandor have never seen a Pachirisu before, so they wouldn’t know daemon coloring from normal.” ----------------------------- I tried so hard to chain for this last year, but the female shiny simply refused to hatch (the last male broke my chain after Hypermode ended, back in the Dark Ages before Niet changed that). I have my good friend Delta1413 to thank for having Hitomi now! Hitomi is, in my Pokemon Uranium HDM fusion, Kellyn's daemon. Kellyn originally hails from Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia as the male protagonist, and shows up in Pokemon Uranium as the work-obsessed father of the game's MC. Hitomi's original form was Pachirisu; however, after losing the love of his life (whom he first meets in the above excerpt), the trauma causes her to shift form.
