This Pokémon was the one exception to the "catch the full team before the first Gym Battle" rule, only because I couldn't get the Old Rod without beating the Gym first and I really wanted a Magikarp as my final team member. Also, this Pokémon is named after another PokéFarm user. I wanted to name her something epic, seeing as she is going to evolve into a dragon one day. So I was thinking, Hmm... Dragon, dragon... What could I name a dragon? Then I recalled clicking a user by the name of dragon97. Yeah, that's all there is to the name, actually. And yes, I realize the user dragon97 is male and this Pokémon is female, but y'knowwww... dragon97 (the Magikarp) is kind of the clown of the team and enjoys making the others laugh. She seems to like battling because she wants to defend her friends, though she can't physically do much in the way of battle at the moment.
