smol fren, very soft. named for mercury but more like gallium - will not hurt u - nonbinary but uses she pronouns for convenience, like a Gem from S.U. Mercuria is not the Strongest Meltan, so she's a bit nervous around others of her own kind, as she is very proud of her individuality (although quietly so). Even though the Q region has the technology to evolve Meltan into Melmetal without any merging involved, she's still kind of scared it might happen by accident. Meltan, as a rule, live in groups, and Mercuria is certainly no exception. She just happens to be the only member of the group who is an actual Meltan.
