Lacing her fingers tightly through his feathers, she closes her eyes and tilts her head back, feeling the wind on her face. The powerful strokes of his wings as he soars across the sky matches perfectly to the beat of her heart. "You're enjoying this just a little too much for a Mission this critical," Valerio comments. Wendy opens her eyes and leans forward again, refocusing on the column of smoke rising in the air. "Maybe," she remarks, patting her daemon on the back. "But we've got to take our moments of enjoyment where we can." ----------------------------- It took forever for this shiny to come along, but I'm glad he finally did. Valerio represents an important muse to my Pokemon Uranium HDM fusion. In Pokemon Uranium, I headcanon that the ranger who shows up several times with a partner Staraptor is Wendy from Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia. In my HDM fusion - as well as other varients of the Uranium 'verse that I'm working on - Wendy plays a greater role in the story in that she's Kellyn's right-hand Ranger, who also helps keep him on track when he needs a little support. For the HDM fusion especially, Valerio is her daemon.
