A long time ago, in a farm not so far away, a houndour was born. You probably think his name was Taylor but it was, in fact, Taylor's father who originates this story. You see, upon his birth, the houndour was cursed. The curse was kept a secret for a long time, so long in fact, that the young pokemon had grown and evolved into a houndoom before finding out the truth. The curse was revealed to him that any child the houndoom would father would not live beyond a week. The reason for the curse was due the houndoom's own father, who had made a deal with a dark spirit. In a dream the houndoom was told all of this, but also that there was hope: for a spirit of fairies living in hiding had the power to undo the curse. The houndoom traveled far, travelled wide, and then traveled even farther and wider in search for the mysteries spirit of fairies. The houndoom was just ready to give up, dooming himself to a lonesome life, when he discovered a group of poachers in the act of capturing a fairy spirit! In an act of heroic desparation the houndoom attacked and saved the spirit. the spirit in turn took form in imitation of her heroic savior, becoming another houndoom. To the houndoom's astonishment, the fairy houndoom revealed that she herself was the spirit of fairies he'd been looking for, and that she'd been watching him for a long time now, deciding whether he would be worthy of her help. After saving her, she had decided that was truly worthy. With her powers, The spirit cast upon the houndoom a fairy protection, which would protect the houndoom's offspring from the curse. What the spirit didn't tell the houndoom was that she'd also given him a special gift for saving her life, which was a fairy blessing only the truly heroic could attain. The blessing would take shape many years later as the houndoom's child, named Taylor, was born. Not only had he been protected from the curse, but the young houndour had been imbued with the powers of the fairies, in hopes that Taylor one day would be as a heroic houndoom as his father was before him.
