I'm extremely new to making a guide but it's something I feel people should have it's still needing improvements however this is made by the help of my friend Vaporeon26 thanks for all the help Vaporeon I'll have the next post with prices and 2 posts reserved incase anything else is needed to be listed

What is Mega Evolution?

Mega Evolution is a temporary transformation introduced in Generation Six (VI) that affects certain Pokémon. Poke Farm Q mega evolution however; is permanent unlike in the main games and comes with a fee of either credits or gold poke which hypermode and bonus counter discounts do not affect Once you mega evolve your pokemon the stone will break.

Ready to take you pokemon to the next level with mega evolution? Ok, Here we go!:
Note: Mega Evolution on PFQ is PERMANENT unlike in the main games so choose wisely

Step 1

Obtain a Mega Ring and Keystone from Professor Holly:
In order to mega evolve you first need to obtain a mega ring and keystone in order to do that you need to first evolve 50 pokemon once you've evolved 50 pokemon visit the lab and talk to Professor Holly. Once you've talked to Professor Holly she will give you the mega ring and Keystone which will be in your inventory under the key items tab.

Step 2

Obtain a Mega Stone:

Each Mega Stone belongs to a different pokemon two of which belong to pokemon that are only found on PFQ called exclusives while two more belong to pokemon that are a cross between two different cannon pokemon or a variation of a cannon pokemon; those pokemon are called variants You can obtain megastones by completing the corresponding mass click weekend, using Megastone vouchers, the market, boxes or other players. Every massclick weekend gives one of 3 rewards one month is an exclusive egg another is a new totems sticker and the last one in the cycle is a mega stone. There’s only a 1% chance of getting a megastone from your boxes There are 5 different types of megastone vouchers each corresponding to the different megasone tiers. For example: Megastone Voucher 1 corresponds to Megastone Tier 1 meaning you can choose any one of the megastones in tier 1. (more on exclusive pokemon here)
Once you obtain a mega stone you are now ready for step 3

Step 3

Give you Pokemon the mega stone:
1) Select the pokemon you want to mega evolve 2) Click the three horizontal lines (image credit) Gumshoe's "How to Breed Variants!" guide 3) Click give item

Once your pokemon is holding the stone you are now ready for step 4

Step 4 (Final Step)

Mega Evolution!:
In the megstones tab select the stone then click give Once your pokemon is holding the stone click the three lines again and then select mega evolve When you click mega evolve a page will appear allowing you to select which fee you want to pay in order to evolve your pokemon Finnally select which fee you want to pay and enjoy your brand new mega pokemon!

As far as i know it just changes the look and can NOT be changed back

well it is required for another Dex entry so it's needed for Dex otherwise I guess yea looks also sometimes the typing some I think give a new type take one away or replaces a typing

I can't find anything about it - how do you obtain the metoerite to mega evolve Rayquaza and change Deoxys's forme?
Currently working on a living Quirky pokedex, any help is appreciated!

It improves the pokemon's base stats, which is helpful if you enjoy sparring
